Terms of service

These terms apply when you use stradaselect.com or the services of Strada Select ("we", "us"). By submitting a form or using our services, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

1. We're a broker, not a dealer

Strada Select is a car broker. We don't hold stock, we don't buy cars, and we don't sell cars. We act on your behalf to connect you with a buyer or to help you find a car. Any sale or purchase is made directly between you and the other party, who is not part of Strada Select.

2. Sell in 24 Hours

• We share your car's details and photos with our network of dealers and present you with the highest offer we receive. We aim to do this within 24 hours, but timing isn't guaranteed.
• Offers are made by dealers, not by us. They're based on the information and photos you provide and are subject to the dealer inspecting the car. A dealer may change or withdraw an offer if the car isn't as described.
• Offers are wholesale offers and will usually be below private-sale retail prices.
• You're under no obligation to accept any offer.
• If you accept an offer, we connect you with the dealer, and the sale (including payment, any finance payout and the transfer of registration) is completed directly between you and the dealer.

3. Car sourcing

• We search for cars that match your brief, research market pricing, and help negotiate on the car you choose.
• You decide whether to buy a car, and you buy it directly from the seller. We don't take payment for the car.
• We provide our research and opinions in good faith, but we don't guarantee the condition, history or future value of any car. We strongly recommend an independent pre-purchase inspection and a PPSR check (to confirm there's no finance owing and the car isn't recorded as stolen or written off) before you buy.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate and complete information, including any damage, faults and finance owing.
• When selling, make sure you own the car or are authorised to sell it.
• Only send photos and information you're happy for us to share with dealers for the purpose of getting offers.

5. Fees

6. Information on this website

Information on this website is general in nature. It isn't financial, legal or tax advice, and you should consider your own circumstances.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from a sale or purchase between you and another party, or from information provided by dealers, sellers or other third parties. Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to supplying the services again or refunding the fees you paid us.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of [state: to confirm], Australia.
